Repaired spare parts and used machines require a Chartered Engineer Certificate (CEC) for export to India.
The regulatory basis is the Indian Ministry of Finance's publication No. 25/2015 of October 2015, according to which the value of the machine must be determined by an approved inspection service provider. If no CEC is presented, the goods may be rejected or blocked for a longer period of time by Indian customs authorities.
Issue of a CEC certificate
In order to issue a CEC certificate, our approved CEC engineers carry out a physical inspection of the used machine or used spare parts / individual components.
